Quick Facts

How fast can you solve an algorithm?

In a recent study of pump scheduling optimization software researchers compared 6 leading algorithms on a system with a single tank and 5 pumps. A 16 CPU super computer solved this in times ranging from 21 to 118 seconds. Aquadapt solves systems with 88 pumps and 29 storage tanks in 53 seconds with a single CPU on a standard office computer and a system with 223 pumps in under 3 minutes.
