August 2008, Greater Wellington, one of Derceto's first customers, expand their system

Wellington Cablecar

Derceto Ltd have completed a contract to supply Aquadapt 5.6 to control the entire Greater Wellington Water (New Zealand) distribution system.   One third of this system was optimised by Derceto Ltd, using Derceto 3.0 in June 2000, the forerunner of Aquadapt 5.6.  The recent project replaced that implementation with the much more powerful Aquadapt 5.6 and was expanded to control the remaining 2/3rds of the distribution system.

This project has been dependent on significant improvements in the Scada system which was completed in 2007 by Greater Wellington Regional Council's own staff.  Delivery of the full implementation occurred ahead of schedule in July with completion in August 2008.
