March 2008, Derceto UK Ltd and Mouchel Group secures a detailed design study for Wessex Water

Bath UK
Following the successful Phase 1 study carried out on the Codford section of the distribution system between Warminster and Bath, Derceto UK Ltd in partnership with Mouchel Group have secured the next phase in this exciting opportunity.  A Detailed Design (Phase 2) project has been signed with Wessex Water to study the northern parts of the distribution system including Bath, Malmesbury, Bowden, Devizes and Odcombe.  Wessex Water is the regional water and sewage treatment business serving an area of the south west of England, covering 10,000 square kilometres including Dorset, Somerset, Bristol, most of Wiltshire and parts of Gloucestershire and Hampshire. They treat and supply drinking water to 1.2 million people and provide sewerage services to about 2.5million. The completed report was delivered in September 2008 and lead to a request for a proposal for an Aquadapt implementation.

Quick Facts

Creating savings in both energy and demand

Electricity tariffs target both energy (kWh) and peak instantaneous demand (kW). While most people focus on energy the demand charges can make up more than 40% of an energy bill. Aquadapt achieves savings in both energy and demand.
