EMWD wins AWWA Energy Management Award for Aquadapt project

EMWD Award

Derceto Inc., is pleased to report that Eastern Municipal Water District (EMWD) was chosen by the California-Nevada Section AWWA as the recipient of the 2007 Outstanding Energy Management Award for their Derceto Aquadapt software implementation. Congratulations to EMWD on a successful project and a well deserved outcome

EMWD’s Director of Water Operations, Khos Ghaderi (left) accepts the award from Shahid Chaudhry, California Energy Commission and Chair of the CA-NV Section AWWA Energy Committee.

EMWD first implemented Aquadapt as a pilot project in August 2006 in the Moreno Valley area, representing about a third of the total network. The success of this project lead to a subsequent order in February 2007 to roll out of Aquadapt to Perris Valley and Sun City/Murrieta, covering some 90% of EMWD’s distribution network and this was completed in September 2007.
