Existing Aquadapt System Extended for Unitywater, Queensland

Derceto have been working with Unity Water, formerly Marooch Water Services and Sunshine Coast Water for more than 8 years.

[Auckland, New Zealand, 13 July 2013]   In 2005 Derceto delivered one of its first international systems for Maroochy Water Services in Queensland Australia. Over the years through growth and merger Maroochy Water became Sunshine Coast Water and now Unitywater, expanding their Aquadapt implementation at each step. Over 670,000 people receive their water from Unitywater, 16.3% of Queensland’s population, spread over 5223 square km.

Work has started at Derceto on the detailed design to add the Noosa area assets and the much larger Moreton Bay system into Aquadapt, necessitating a split into two sets of linked Aquadapt Servers to control this very large geographic region. Total pumps and storage tanks controlled will more than double when the new system is installed later in 2014.
